The Portland-bred Matt Beach is in somewhat of a second life as a professional skateboarder. Matt proved himself to be a true master of style in the nineties, one who skated on his own terms and never leaned too far into what the flavor of the month may have been. Matt joined Brad Staba's Skate Mental in 2008 and has been on a terror ever since, filming a part for TWS Right Foot Forward and competing in contests. Recent accolades aside Matt has always had his way of doing things and rather than re-locating to Southern California to be close to all the action, Matt would just as rather be skating down the hills of Portland's West Side in the pouring rain.
